The Madrigal Singers is a mixed choir composed of 8-12 graders whose membership is determined yearly by audition. The group began in 2014 under the direction of Mrs. Cassandra Lemmon. The Loveland Classical Madrigal Singers perform secular and sacred a cappella music of the Renaissance period, music written primarily between the 1400 and 1600s. The Madrigal Singers take part in many of Loveland Classical’s annual celebrations and perform frequently for special occasions on and off Loveland Classical’s campus.
The singers will begin touring annually throughout Northern Colorado to perform Madrigal literature in traditional Renaissance attire. The group’s Madrigal Dinner is an evening of fantastical drama, succulent eats and moving music. We look forward to singing for you! Huzzah!
