Mrs. Jacobson is so excited to begin her fourth year at LCS, as the K-5 Counselor. She grew up in Washington, D.C. and comes from a family of educators. She received a B.A. in History from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia, and went on to get her Masters in School Counseling at the University of Phoenix in Denver. She moved to Colorado in early to 2000 to be closer to the mountains. Mrs. Jacobson realized she wanted to work with children after teaching English as a second language in Spain and Japan. Mrs. Jacobson has worked in Special Education, and as a substitute teacher. She has a passion for helping children reach their full potential academically and socially, and is excited for the school year to begin! Mrs. Jacobson lives outside of Loveland with her Husband Izaak and four wonderful children, Isabella 11, Hannah 9, Samuel 8 and Zachary 5. In her free time she enjoys Church, where she is a Sunday School teacher, and spending time with her family and three pugs.
