Leslie McFarling

Lyceum Resource Teacher

Leslie McFarling lives in Greeley, Colorado. She moved back to Colorado from Manhattan, Kansas six years ago. This is the fourth time that she’s lived in Greeley. The first time was when she attended the University of Northern Colorado, for her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. She had lived in Manhattan for 12 years. There Leslie attended Kansas State University for her Master’s degree in special education and she taught for USD 475 in a couple of schools on Ft. Riley. Currently she is working on finishing another Master’s degree in Education with a Reading Specialist endorsement.
Leslie has been teaching for 15 years, three of those years as a classroom teacher and the rest in special education. Leslie is married to her best friend; her husband of just five years! Together they have seven children and six grandchildren, and one on the way! They are also the “parents” to two dogs and six chickens, so they keep pretty busy!
This will be Leslie’s 5th year teaching special education at Loveland Classical and she loves the school!
