Mrs. Meyer is excited to be returning to Loveland Classical Schools! This year, she will be directing the LCS Concert Choir, teaching Music Appreciation, and working with the Academy GT students.

Mrs. Meyer grew up in Colorado Springs. While in middle school, she decided she wanted to become a music teacher and began learning the different instruments and teaching younger players. She studied music at Colorado State University and currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and Music Performance on the French horn. While in college she continued to play the piano and other instruments and participated in various bands, choirs, orchestras, and small ensembles around the Fort Collins area. She completed her education degree teaching choir and orchestra at a middle school in Fort Collins.

Since graduating from college, Mrs. Meyer has done substitute teaching across Northern Colorado before discovering Loveland Classical Schools. She joined the school as a fifth grade classroom coordinator for a year before becoming a music teacher. She is excited to be returning this year for music as well as working with the GT students.

Outside of school, Mrs. Meyer can be found spending time with her husband, Alexander, and their two cats, Zeke and Zoe. She enjoys reading, sewing, and practicing.
