Mrs. Povsha is a Colorado native, who graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 2000. After high school, she attended the University of Northern Colorado where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in early childhood development. Mrs. Povsha did her college internship working in kindergarten classes.
After graduating from college Mrs. Povsha taught preschool and later joing the High Plains Library District. After her second child was born, she took some time off work to stay home with her children. Mrs. Povsha began working for the Loveland Public Library in the technology department, teaching both adults and children a variety of technology skills. Mrs. Povsha started at LCS by volunteering in her children’s classrooms. Mrs. Povsha has been a Classroom Coordinator at LCS for the last two years and was hired as an elementary English teacher for the 2017-18 school year. She is thrilled to be in the new phase of her career.
Mrs. Povsha enjoys spending time with her husband Bill, their two beautiful daughters Kaidence and Korinne, and their dog. She loves to read science fiction/Dystopian novels, cross stitch, do yoga, and create graphic and basic web designs. Mrs. Povsha also enjoys gluten free cooking, spending time outdoors, hiking and gardening.
