Loveland Classical Schools employs the nationally recognized Core Knowledge sequence from kindergarten through 8th grade.
LCS is a public charter school; therefore, we do not charge tuition.
All LCS students are offered at least one language at each grade level.
Spanish: K – 3 grades (required)
Latin: 4 – 8 grades (required)
German, Greek, Latin, Spanish: 9 – 12 grades (optional)
LCS’ phonic-based literacy
The LCS’ literacy program is a phonics-based approach, founded on Dr. Samuel T. Orton’s work 120 years ago. Our approach to phonics-based literacy teaches students the foundational sounds made by letters and groups of letters.
LCS currently offers the following sports:
students in grades 1-5: boys and girls wrestling, girls cheer squad
students in grades 6-8: girls volleyball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls track and field, boys and girls wrestling, girls cheer squad
students in grades 9-12: girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls wrestling
LCS has a growing number of extra-curricular clubs and activities, which include but are not limited to academic Student Government, Robotics Club, Math Club, Spanish Club, and National Honor Society just to name a few.
CMAS Testing
LCS administers all state-mandated testing, which includes CMAS testing.
