This week is the last week of the semester. Students should take the opportunity to do test retakes and turn in missing work.
We will start new topics this week (although these new topics won’t be tested on until second semester), and will be reviewing semester 1 topics in our daily warm-ups. There will be a quiz this Thursday on randomly chosen warm-ups from this past Friday to this coming Wednesday.
This week, we will introduce systems of linear equations. First, we will be graphing two lines and looking at their intersection to solve the system graphically. Then, we will discuss solving a system using the substitution method. On Friday, we will start learning about solving linear systems using the linear combination (also known as the “elimination”) method.
Have a great week!
