DIBELS

Administered to students in Kindergarten – Third Grade
DIBELS are measures that help teachers and schools determine how students are performing on important reading skills. DIBELS stands for Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills. These measures are designed for students in grades K-6. The DIBELS measures assess students on four of these five critical skills, which are often referred to as the “Big Ideas” of reading.

NWEA Map Growth

Administered to Grades K – Twelfth Grade
Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) is a state-aligned, computerized-adaptive, assessment program that provides educators with the information they need to improve teaching and learning and make student-focused, data-driven decisions. Students in grades K-12 are tested three times per year in math, reading, and language usage. Educators use the growth and achievement data from MAP to develop targeted instructional strategies and to plan school improvement.
