Fourth Grade Medieval Day
Theme days, like today’s Medieval Day at the LCS Lyceum, are something students and parents look forward to for months. They bring ideas to life, bolster engagement and get the whole family involved.
The Dark Ages were defined by a social hierarchy called Feudalism in which social classes were strictly segregated. Ironically, for a theme day like this to work, the various different classes at school must work together in concert. Every department has a role.
LCS teachers collaborate every day to support a big picture progression for students. That’s the Core Knowledge sequence. Theme days showcase that cooperative spirit and the hard work that it requires in a fun and exciting way.
