The storied LCS choir goes on tour
The interplay of academic inquiry and art is an essential element of the classical experience at Loveland Classical Schools. There are few better examples of this than the LCS Madrigal Choir, an a cappella group of students, grades 8-12, led by music instructor Ms. Rebecca Faust-Frodl.
True to their roots in the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the LCS Madrigals dress in period costume to perform secular and sacred music written in between the 15th and 17th centuries.
In the press and throughout the Loveland community, the Madrigals are a symbol of the LCS effort to bring time-tested classical ideas to front stage to offer modern context.
