Middle School Boys Basketball Makes the Championship Game

Mens sana in corpore sano

Loveland Classical Schools has earned a reputation for academic rigor and excellence, but that’s only part of the story. LCS students have many talents; they also take the field, court, mat, stage and podium throughout the year, developing sound minds in sound bodies (mens sana in corpore sano).

Under coaches Justin King, Cole Cook, and Mark Hirsch, the middle school boys basketball team won a 52-51 nail-biter on Monday. On Wednesday, they beat the top team, advancing to the Northern Colorado Independent League Championship Game–an LCS first!

The championship game is tonight at 5 p.m. at New Vision Charter School (299 Peridot Avenue, Loveland). Come cheer them on!
