Amanda Worrell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Special Education both from the University of Northern Colorado. Throughout her career, Mrs. Worrell has helped students of all ages become successful readers through explicit, evidence based instruction. As a highly qualified teacher who is trained in both assessment, intervention implementation, and instructional coaching she is very excited for her fifth year at Loveland Classical Schools.
Mrs. Worrell is a passionate reader, who has devoted her career to helping students discover that same love of written language. As William James so eloquently said, “So it is with children who learn to read fluently and well: They begin to take flight into a whole new world as effortlessly as young birds take to the sky.” In addition to reading, Mrs. Worrell also enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, skiing, and walking her three dogs.
