Eric Weideman

Board Director, Partners in Education Committee

Eric grew up on the Colorado Front Range and is a husband and a father of two children, both of whom have attended LCS since Kindergarten. He has a diverse educational background, having attended public school, private school and home school. He graduated from the University of Phoenix earning a degree in Information Technology.

Eric Weideman currently serves as an IT Specialist for a large entity and has been involved in Information Technology for almost 20 years. He is the lead for a DevSecOps (development, security, operations) team and has served in positions as Systems Administration, Production Operations Manager, and had once worked for the HP Voodoo Gaming Division. Eric usually tells people that he is simply a professional geek.

Hobbies and interests include board and card games, ice hockey (he plays hockey locally at times and is also a lifelong Colorado Avalanche fan), camping with his family, and reading up on history and politics. LCS caught Eric’s attention when he found that we use a classical education model that focuses on building strong and virtuous character in our students.
