Bruce Finger is a retired IBM Executive Director who had the opportunity to serve in many roles during his 37-year career with IBM. His last assignment with IBM was based in Chicago where he was the Senior Global Project Executive at Kraft Foods and Mondelez International. During his 3 year assignment, Kraft Foods split into 2 companies and Bruce led the IBM team that played a major role in that transformation. He managed a $150 million HR and IT contract across 22 countries. Bruce is a certified PMI Project Manager (PMP) and certified IBM Executive Project Manager.
Bruce has a Master of Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems. In addition, Bruce has extensive computer science related training from IBM. Over his 30+ years working in Information Technology related roles, he attended a full time 3 month mainframe programming school and a full time 15 week PC based programming program. As a programmer and IT professional, he was required to complete 80 hours of IT education each year. He has extensive experience leading facilitated sessions and presenting at all levels within an organization, which translates very well to the classroom environment.
Bruce and his wife Becky have four children and eight grandchildren. He loves working with children and helping them explore different ways of learning to reach their full potential. He also encourages children to “Dream Big” in life! Bruce and Becky live in Berthoud and love being active in their church and community.
