Elena Norcross

Gifted and Talented teacher

Elena Norcross is the Gifted and Talented teacher for Loveland Classical Schools. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin and completed her Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Colorado State University. Elena has taught at a charter school for the arts in Wisconsin, as well as teaching undergraduates at CSU. When she is not teaching, Elena enjoys writing. Her master’s thesis, How to Clean a Heart, is currently looking for a home in the publishing world. Her stories were chosen twice to be considered for the AWP Intro Journals Project, as well as publication in Spectrum Literary Journal. While at CSU, Elena was also an associate editor for the Colorado Review. Elena’s other interests include music, film, politics, and philosophy.
