Mr. Willis grew up in Golden, Colorado. After a stint at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, Mr. Willis took time off of school to pinpoint what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. After deciding that he wanted to help others, mainly younger people, he realized that he wanted to teach the next generation. So, he and his wife moved from Durango back to her hometown of Loveland, Colorado. Mr. Willis enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado and completed his teaching program with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in science.
Mr. Willis is excited to be back at Loveland Classical Schools teaching 6th and 7th grade science. On a personal note, his twins are now 4.5 and in their last year of preschool, and his 7.5 year old will be going into second grade. Mr. Willis and his wife enjoy taking their kids and dogs on walks and bike rides and just spending time with them. They have also recently adopted three lovely guinea pigs.
