This is Gloria’s sixth year at Loveland Classical Schools, and her second year as the High School Counselor. She is a graduate of Colorado State University’s CACREP accredited Master’s Program and is glad to be continuing in this role at LCS. She obtained her undergraduate degree in communication and public relations from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
Her counseling philosophy is a balance of empathy, understanding, and accountability. She firmly believes in the core virtues LCS instills and wants to assist students in their growth personally, with their education, and in thinking about the future.
She has spent much time volunteering for child-related, non-profit organizations such as Girl Scouts, Campfire Kids, April’s Angels, coaching elementary basketball, and tutoring. Working in an education environment and counseling are her true passions.
She has also been an administrator in college admissions for over three years and the University Relations Director for an international education company connecting students with life experiences abroad.
When she is not assisting in planning others’ futures, she is spending time with her new baby and toddler. As a family they enjoy hiking, camping, and going on adventures. She loves to garden and manage her many pets. She is a world traveler and has been to two or more countries on six continents.
Her door is always open and looks forward to getting to know our students and school community!
