Jason Martin

History and Literature Teacher

Mr. Martin is returning for his fifth year at Loveland Classical Schools. He began as a coordinator for the first three years, and became the third grade History and Literature last year. This year, he will be teaching third and fifth grade History! Born in Germany into an Air Force family, he has lived around half of his life in Europe and half in various states around the country, including New Hampshire, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Mr. Martin has lived in Colorado for the past nine years and has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in German Language and Culture from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He is looking forward to continuing to apply his own liberal arts based education within the classical foundation at Loveland Classical Schools. His interests in his own education have been centered around history, especially concentrated in European, religious, and United States histories. With that background, he could not imagine a better way of staying involved in those passions by sharing them and exploring them with his students.

In his free time, Mr. Martin enjoys hiking, collecting and listening to records, reading books, writing, being a political and historical nerd, spending time with his friends (many of whom are also teachers at the school), and watching his favorite shows and movies.
