Jeannette Shepherd

Classroom Coordinator
Grade 2

A Colorado native, Ms. Shepherd is super excited to be returning for her second year as a second grade classroom coordinator. She grew up on the western slope where she attended Fruita Monument High School and Mesa State University. She had a career in dentistry for over 25 years, finishing as an office manager as well as an educator for Pickens Technical College in the Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Curriculum. While the commitments became so demanding with this profession and her love for her family and education was pulling at her heartstrings, she chose to put this career aside and follow the direction of LCS where she would be able to enjoy valuable time with her son, the youngest of six children.

Her family recently moved to the Loveland area last summer and really enjoy this community. Ms. Shepherd taught second grade religious education for Sacred Heart Parish in Fruita, CO, was a 4H leader for two years in Rio Blanco County and Loma, CO, coached coed youth nine and under soccer for four years off and on.

Ms. Shepherd is really excited to be able to enjoy seeing the students grow and see their happy faces everyday. She feels very lucky to not only have her son attending such a wonderful school but to also be part of Loveland Classical as a faculty member. She is looking forward to another fabulous year.
