Mr. King grew up in Rhode Island, then moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Suffolk University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Philosophy, while focusing on Jungian depth psychology, theology, comparative mythology and Ancient Greek philosophy. He received a multidisciplinary Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
While attending St. John’s, Mr. King was a Special Education teacher for the Santa Fe public schools and managed an adolescent behavioral management program. He also has experience working in the mental health field, working in residential and outreach treatment facilities. This will be Mr. King’s seventh year teaching at LCS, and he is very much looking forward to teaching 10th grade Western Civilization II, 12th grade Modern History, Ethics (Moral Philosophy), AP Psychology and Senior Thesis.
