Mrs. O’Brien is a transplant to Colorado from her native state, Texas. She graduated from University of California in San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and later completed her administrator’s licensure at University of St Thomas in Houston, Texas with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She has a total of 24 years in public education with a focus on K-12 math. In addition to teaching, her experience includes writing district curriculum and assessments, creating and facilitating professional development, and mentoring teachers new to the field of education.
In her free time, Mrs. O’Brien enjoys yoga, riding the bike trails, and spending time with her husband and twin girls.
