Kimmerly Grant

Classroom Coordinator
Grade 1

Born and raised in the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia, Mrs. Grant earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Early and Middle Education from Radford University, nestled in the lovely Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Upon graduating, Mrs. Grant moved to colorful Colorado with her husband, whom she met while attending college. Mr. and Mrs. Grant have two daughters. Their eldest daughter will be entering her third year of college this year, while their younger daughter will be enjoying her senior year of high school. The newest addition to the family is a very energetic one-year-old German Shepherd.

During her free time, Mrs. Grant enjoys reading, ancestry research, walking, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Grant also loves watching all of the old westerns, especially John Wayne movies.

It is Mrs. Grant’s opinion that the Core Knowledge curriculum, along with teaching Core Virtues, provides the necessary educational foundation to pursue higher academic goals and to increase the chances of living a productive and purposeful life. Mrs. Grant, and the first grade team, look forward to helping their students have a strong academic year and to teaching them more about character virtues.
