Mr. Boylan is excited to be part of Loveland Classical Schools’ administrative team. Upon graduating from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Bachelor’s of Education in Recreation, he spent the next few years teaching with a travelling outdoor education program in Washington, Oregon, California and Arizona. His first classroom teaching experience was in Ridgecrest, California, where he taught 5th/6th grade math, 5th/6th science and high school biology. Upon accepting an administrative role as the school’s Dean of Students, Mr. Boylan oversaw extra-curricular events, developed the school’s secondary curriculum and was involved with handling discipline matters. It was also during this time that Mr. Boylan taught a variety of secondary science courses including Life Science, Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Drug Use/Abuse.
In 2004, he moved to Northern Colorado and taught Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology and Chemistry at Loveland Christian High School. Since coming to Loveland Classical Schools, Mr. Boylan has enjoyed teaching 3rd, 6th, 7th and 9th grade science classes and taking on the position of Lyceum Principal, leading the K – 5 program at Loveland Classical Schools.
In his spare time, Mr. Boylan enjoys time with his wife and three children. He loves to travel, enjoy sports, drink coffee, and read.
