Hello LCS Families,
Loveland Classical Schools will obviously follow the Thompson School District (TSD) guidelines for school closure for the week after Spring Break, being March 23-27.
From the message sent by TSD recently:
Out of an abundance of caution, Thompson School District will be extending its Spring Break period and will be closed from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27. All schools and district buildings will be closed and inaccessible during this period. Schools will release today at their normally scheduled times.
Loveland Classical Schools’ two campuses will also be closed, without access for our students and families, during this period until further notice.
Our Facilities Staff are already planning an extensive, deep cleaning of our facilities and classrooms during Spring Break, which will occur during the period of LCS’ school closure.
Further, we made phone calls this morning to families who need to pick up their student’s medication to please pick it up today.
We understand the inconvenience, and we appreciate our LCS community’s participation in this regional effort to stem the tide of transmission.
LCS Online Learning Option:
As LCS communicated a few days ago, we are preparing our online learning platform for our classes through this temporary period. Please expect further communication from LCS on March 23 regarding how to log-in to your LCS Google Classroom account for our online learning platform, along with course work being sent via email from our teachers for our students during this week.
Our aim is to launch our online learning option on Monday, March 30. We appreciate your grace and understanding as we transition to our temporary online learning platform.
I wish you all a safe and enjoyable Spring Break. We look forward to seeing our students back in class as soon as it is determined that schools can reopen.
Sincerely, and with best regards,
Study for Robinson Crusoe Test – Friday 3/13
